comienzos fueron a temprana edad y siempre acompañado de mi querido Tatita, don
Tomás Robles. En cuanto a mi monta... bueno, no habrá sido inscrita, pero la "Sonia"
tenia sus bondades y la recuerdo con cariño. Esta foto es de los 50 y fué
tomada en Robles con Barnechea.
I started at a very early age and my dear Tatita, (grandad) don
Tomás Robles, was always at my side. About my "horse"... well, maybe
she wasn't a purebred, but she had her good qualities and I remember her with
tenderness. This picture was taken in the 50's on the corner of Robles and
Barnechea.

En la primera medialuna de Lo Barnechea
corriendo con mi padre, Jorge Villavicencio Piña. Su mejor dicho era:
"Rico o Pobre" y esto se demuestra perfectamente en la foto... de la
pura cola...Él monta a su yegua regalona "Timbrá" madre de
"Huérfana" que estuvo entre las 10 mejores yeguas del ranking años atras. Yo arreo en "Bambú".
In the first Rodeo Arena of Lo Barnechea with my father Jorge Villavicencio Piña. His saying was: "Rich or Poor" (all or nothing) and this is demonstrated perfectly in the picture... just from the tail... He is riding his favorite mare "Timbrá", mother of "Huérfana" that was among the top 10 mares, a few years ago. I'm riding "Bambú".
